This educational camp is completed over a two day period and is specifically designed for those who want a career in the Defence Forces of Ireland. With competition for these places being extremely high we aim to ensure that you have the knowledge, qualifications and those all important tips, to make you a more attractive candidate for the job.
Our instructors are active and retired members of the emergency services and possess the knowledge and understanding of what makes an ideal candidate for a job in the Defence Forces.
Over the two day program you will gain qualifications and certifications in Fire, First Aid, CPR, Working at Heights, Water Safety and Manual Handling training.
You will also get information on the history of the Defence Forces including the services provided, number of people employed, profile of ideal candidates and also in-depth information on the selection process so that you can use this time to ensure you meet the criteria when the open competition begins.
Help with collating CV’s, interview tips and a pre job application TO DO list will also be provided on the course.
To put it plainly this course has been specifically designed to give you the best tools to put you in a great position should you get selected for that all important Interview.
